Selected hardwoods are available, including oak, walnut, ash, and beech (typically around double the pine price). If you’d like a different hardwood, we’re happy to quote after reviewing your measurements and requirements.

What can I use it for?
You can use our gates as a baby gate for stairs or garden doors, a toddler barrier, a pet gate, or even a decorative wooden divider. We personally use ours at the back patio door and at both the top and bottom of the stairs for our 18‑month‑old. Every gate comes with fittings, fixtures, and a bolt or lock included.
Can you adjust the spindle spacing?
Yes. Standard spacing is 2 inches between spindles, but we can adjust this at no extra charge. For example, some customers prefer spacing small enough to stop a baby but wide enough for a cat to pass through.
I’m not confident measuring—what should I do?
Simply measure the width of the opening where the gate will sit and send us that measurement. We’ll make it to that exact size. If you’re unsure, just ask—we’re happy to guide you through it.
Can you make something unusual?
Absolutely. We love a challenge. If it’s made of wood, we’re 99% sure we can make it, no matter how unusual the request.
